Quick Operation Heat Balance

Operation Heat Balance can be prepared only by several clicks and inputs.

For the 800 MW Design Heat Balance prepared in Quick HB page, the following Operation Heat Balances shall be prepared.

1) 75% Load with Modified Sliding Pressure Operation (85% Throttle Valve Opening)

2) 100% Load with HP FW Heater 50% Bypass Heat Balance

3) 100% Load with Boiler Reheater Attemperator Spray Water Supply

 

75% Load with Modified Sliding Pressure Operation

Open OPERATION window by clicking "OPERATION" button.

Inputs at "Start" tab can be finished only by six(6) steps shown in the picture below.

 

At "BFPT" tab, select and input operation conditions of BFP Driving Turbine, Aux. Steam (1) and (2).

Steam sources of Operation Heat Balance may be selected differently from Design Heat Balance.   

It should be noted that such functions should be selected in DESIGN window in order to apply the functions in Operation Heat Balance.    If the functions are not required in Design Heat Balance but required in Operation Heat Balance, please input "0" for flow rate after selection.

 

"FW Bypass" tab is for selection and input of operation conditions for Aux. Water and FW Heater Out of Operation/Bypass.

Since there is nothing to do for 75% Part Load Heat Balance, remain as it is.

 

After selection and input explained above, clicks "Run" button for execution.

The picture below shows Graphic Output after run.

 

100% Load with HP FW Heater 50% Bypass Heat Balance

From selection and input for the 75% Load Heat Balance explained above, change the followings.

At "Start" tab, change Title and Load Basis % value as shown in the picture below.

 

 

At "FW Bypass" tab, input Bypass % values of HP FW Heaters as shown in the picture below.

 

Then, clicks "Run" button for execution.   The picture below shows Graphic Output after run.

 

100% Load with Boiler Reheater Attemperator Spray Water Supply

From selection and input for 100% Load with HP FW Heater 50% Bypass Heat Balance explained above, change the following as shown in the picture below.

 

Then, clicks "Run" button for execution.   The picture below shows Graphic Output after run.
